Jazz Technique - D2

About this event

This class focuses on the foundations of jazz dance, blending classical technique with contemporary style. Movers will work on strength, alignment, flexibility, turns, jumps, and progressions across the floor, while also diving into dynamics, musicality, and performance quality. Designed for dancers looking to refine their skills and build strong technical foundations, Jazz Technique offers a supportive yet challenging environment that benefits both seasoned performers and those new to jazz training. Level D2 — Intermediate (~3+ years)- Recall combinations with less visual demonstration, link two to three steps into more complex sequences, and begin showing musicality and performance quality. Example: Teacher demonstrates once, then cues verbally — students execute without ongoing demonstration.
