Light-Up Mosaics

About this event

Turn colorful glass into a mosaic that glows!

Come explore the art of mosaics with a bright little twist! We’ll combine colorful glass tiles and tiny LED lights to create a handmade piece that shines.

In this guided workshop, you’ll arrange glass pieces on a shaped base, with clear tiles over embedded LED lights so the light shines right through your design. Have fun mixing colors and textures as you create a one-of-a-kind mosaic to brighten your home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift!

Ticket price includes the instruction, tools, and materials to make your own light-up mosaic. No experience necessary.

Join us at Tucson Creative Reuse , a wonderful new creative reuse shop in the heart of Tucson's historic Fourth Avenue district. Fourth Avenue has always been a place where artists, makers, musicians, and creative spirits come together, and this feels like the perfect place to gather with fellow crafters.

Misa, owner of Tucson Creative Reuse, is passionate about building Tucson's creative community, and we're excited to help introduce more makers to this fantastic new local resource.

Parking: There are lots of metered spaces along Fourth Avenue, plus nearby city garages and surface lots if the street spots are full. However, street parking is metered ($1.50/hour), so please come prepared to pay for parking.
