About this event

Rooted in Reflection: Connecting to Nature, Connecting to Self December 5 @ 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm In Person Yume Japanese Gardens

Register Here $30 non-members / $24 members Class Capacity 15 This two-hour reflective journaling experience invites participants to explore the connection between nature and their inner selves. Through guided mindfulness, journaling prompts, and personal reflection, participants will use the garden as a mirror for exploring emotions, personal stories, growth, and resilience. It provides a sample of what participants will experience if they choose to join the 6-week program, Path for Emotional Healing. The Path is an opportunity to cultivate emotional balance, self-awareness, and peace through personal reflection and regular solo walks in the gardens. Participants are encouraged to approach their healing journey with curiosity and compassion, guided by the garden’s natural rhythms. Tucson Botanical Gardens logo INSTRUCTOR Kenneth Pearson

Kenneth Pearson believes a meaningful life can begin with something as simple as paying attention. As the founder of Live a Haiku Life, he creates gentle spaces for people to slow down, become curious, and reconnect with the moments that often pass quietly by. An author, speaker, psychology educator and practitioner, Kenneth brings together creativity, human behavior, and the quiet practice of being present. At the heart of his work is a simple hope: that we might notice our lives while we are living them.
