About this event

($25-$35 Tickets + Ticket Fees | 6:30 & 8pm Sets | 16+) By way of NYC, the award winning jazz trumpeter Austin Ford makes his debut performance at the Century Room in Tucson. Last fall, Ford won the most prestigious trumpet competition in existence today, the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition. In addition to this, he has been fortunate to perform at major NYC venues, doing over 70 shows on Broadway’s Just in Time and performing numerous times with the Village Vanguard Orchestra. The Austin Ford quintet, a virtuosic yet sensitive ensemble, specializes in reviving some of the best jazz music from the 50's and 60's while also incorporating exciting and fun originals of Austin's.
