Jazz Funk - D2

About this event

Turn up the energy and bring your personality to this intermediate Jazz Funk where technical growth meets pure performance power. Building on your existing dance foundation, you'll work through increasingly complex combinations that blend the sharp lines and rhythmic precision of jazz with the attitude and groove of funk, all while developing the musicality and stage presence that makes this style so electrifying. Teacher demonstrates once and then steps back, so you'll be expected to pick up, retain, and bring your own flavor to the movement. Level D2 — Intermediate (~3+ years)- Recall combinations with less visual demonstration, link two to three steps into more complex sequences, and begin showing musicality and performance quality. Example: Teacher demonstrates once, then cues verbally — students execute without ongoing demonstration.
