About this event

Building on the fundamentals you've already established, this intermediate class progressively challenges both your mind and body through more dynamic barre and center work. Combinations grow in complexity exploring port de bras, adagio, and petit allegro including stationary and traveling jumps and turns with teacher demonstration transitioning to verbal cueing so you begin to truly own the movement. Along the way, you'll develop musicality and performance quality, moving beyond just the steps and into the artistry of ballet. Taught to the ability of the class, this is a space where grace and confidence are built one combination at a time. Level D2 — Intermediate (~3+ years)- Recall combinations with less visual demonstration, link two to three steps into more complex sequences, and begin showing musicality and performance quality. Example: Teacher demonstrates once, then cues verbally — students execute without ongoing demonstration.
