  • Tucsonans attended the annual Beyond Hike with former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and Senator Mark Kelly — a wind advisory warns of 25-35 mph east winds with gusts up to 50 mph today from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. across valley areas near the Catalinas, Rincons and Santa Rita.  KVOA

  • Costco and Sprouts will open soon near Rita Ranch and Vail on Tucson's southeast side to offer more retail options for local residents.  Arizona Daily Star
  • Marana Chamber of Commerce along with Mayor Jon Post held a ribbon cutting for Thai Chili 2go, a new restaurant offering dine in and takeout off Tangerine Farms and Lon Adams Road near Fry's Marketplace in Gladden Farms Community. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Attorney General Kris Mayes announced a new deal with a mega-dairy company that will cut groundwater pumping by over 100,000 acre-feet in the Willcox Basin over the next 15 years (helping protect water supplies for farms and homes) in southeast Arizona.  Arizona Daily Star
