- ➤ The Tucson Coin and Currency Expo runs through Saturday at Casino del Sol on the Westside from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features about 50 vendors trading coins as high silver prices boost collector interest while a ($5) admission fee benefits a local family fighting cancer. KGUN 9
- ➤ After the federal government did not provide the requested emergency blankets, Tucson’s Housing and Community Development bought sleeping bags (costing $16,000) to help unhoused residents.
