- ➤ Tucson’s westside will soon see five new Tugo Bike Share stations installed in about a month to boost safe, affordable transit (backed by a $200,000 grant). Community input from a Sunday block party in Barrio El Río helped shape the station placements. KGUN 9

- ➤ Arizona may pursue cloud seeding to ease water shortages; a test by the Pinal County Water Augmentation Authority last summer (spraying silver iodide crystals into clouds) showed the method’s potential. Arizona Daily Star

- ➤ Local resident Stevie Islas became the first Tucson kid to win the 10U Boys Open 130-pound title at the Tulsa Nationals tournament held Jan. 15-18, competing against 3,011 wrestlers to earn his historic win. KVOA
- ➤ No. 1 Arizona men’s basketball will travel to face No. 13 BYU today at 7 p.m. in the Marriott Center in Provo as the undefeated Wildcats aim to extend their perfect season. The Daily Wildcat
- ➤ Pima Community College's Aztecs beat Southern Idaho 2 to 1 at West Campus Aztec Baseball Field on Saturday with strong pitching from Cam Grenert and timely hits from freshmen. The team will complete its four-game series on Sunday with first pitch at 12:00 p.m. Tucson Sentinel
- ➤ At the PVCC Indoor Invitational on Saturday in Phoenix, PCC's freshman Noah Macias earned his second NJCAA national qualifier by winning the 600-meter race in 1:20.19, moving to second-best in school history. - ➤ The Pima Community College men’s basketball team won a tight game against South Mountain 51—50 after overcoming an 11-point deficit and securing a game-winning rebound by Taevean Fumutimi-Brown at the West Campus Aztec Gym. - ➤ Pima Community College’s softball team won 6 to 3 over Yavapai College on Saturday at West Campus Aztec Softball Field during the final day of the Stacy Iveson Invitational. The Aztecs (1-0) will play Mesa Community College in ACCAC conference play on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at noon. Tucson Sentinel
