- ➤ Patricia Lamb (a grandmother) faces a 120-day delay in processing her DES SNAP renewal that left her without benefits since Thanksgiving. Governor Hobbs approved $7.5 million to hire temporary staff; Lamb plans another DES visit next month if her benefits are not restarted. KGUN 9
- ➤ Demolition of sidewalks starts Tuesday at Euclid and Second to install a new no turn on red signal and dedicated lanes for pedestrians and cyclists. The upgrade follows a fatal hit and run that claimed three University of Arizona students last fall and will finish by May. KVOA
- ➤ The Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue team had a busy weekend assisting in a search near Dove Mountain, doing EVOC, drone, and K9 training on Lehner Road, and locating a missing juvenile after a 911 alert east of Bisbee + team members praised realistic simulators and effective evaluations.
