  • Atharva Bomman, a fourth grader from Legacy Traditional School Northwest Tucson, won the 2026 Pima County Spelling Bee on Saturday, Feb. 14 by beating 41 competitors. He will advance to the State Spelling Bee set for March 21 in Phoenix.  KVOA

  • The University of Arizona women’s basketball team lost 75-69 in overtime to ASU on Saturday, Feb. 14 at McKale Center — grad student guard Noelani Cornfield scored a career-high 24 points while junior guard Sumayah Sugapong added 23 — and the Wildcats will host Colorado, Boulder on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.  The Daily Wildcat
