- ➤ Tucson Meet Yourself partners with the Smithsonian Institution to join the national Of the People Festival celebrating the U.S. 250th; it will represent the Southwest among 40 festivals nationwide and feature the Of the People Village in October and an interactive kiosk at the Tucson Folk Festival in April. - ➤ Oro Valley’s free Dial-A-Ride service for seniors and people with disabilities faces uncertainty as its future relies on the upcoming RTA Next vote. Voters must return ballots by March 10 to continue funding the half-cent sales tax that keeps the service running. KGUN 9
