- ➤ After Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, hundreds gathered at St. Philip’s Church (a longtime community meeting spot) to hold a candlelight vigil and pray for her return. Organizers said the event united the community and provided comfort to the Guthrie family. KVOA

- ➤ Due to triple-digit heat on Saturday, families visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum near Saguaro National Park for its first NatureFest, featuring live demonstrations, exhibits and the new Spadefoot Splash attraction. - ➤ Pima County has announced a project to control treated wastewater in the Santa Cruz River so it does not cross into Pinal County + securing local water supplies for the area. Arizona Daily Star
