  • News 4 Tucson will host its annual Job Fair on May 6, offering local businesses a chance to meet potential employees. The event will create a space for Tucson employers to connect with job seekers.  KVOA

  • Tucson’s 57th Annual Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair ran March 20-22 over five blocks with 350+ artists, live music and local eats. EDUCATION NEWS

  • At UA on March 25, student advocates from Students Supporting Israel urged the senate to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism after vandalism raised campus concerns.   • Fifth graders at Canyon View Elementary are launching a public QR code history tour (exploring how westward expansion shaped Tucson) to offer residents a fresh look at the city’s past.  KVOA
  • Faculty are concerned about the U of A’s unclear admissions policy changes that may limit opportunities for nontraditional students.   • Fans of the University of Arizona men's basketball team can watch the Final Four game at sold-out McKale Center at ALKEME Arena and several downtown venues (Playground & HUB, The Monica, Illegal Pete’s, No Anchovies, and Gentle Ben’s) on Saturday, with early arrival advised to avoid heavy traffic.  The Daily Wildcat

  • Bill Veeck moved his team to Tucson in 1947 to escape southern racism and lay the foundation for Arizona’s Cactus League, where the first spring training game was played at Randolph Park.
