- ➤ Golf N' Stuff on Tucson’s east side celebrates 50 years by welcoming families to enjoy mini golf, bumper boats, laser tag, an arcade, and go-karts; it has served as a popular spot since opening in 1976. KGUN 9
- ➤ A memorial service was held over the weekend at Marana Regional Airport to honor 19 Marines killed in an MV-22 Osprey crash on April 8, 2000. Military leaders stressed remembering these young service members during the annual event. KVOA

- ➤ The Tucson Folk Festival returns for its 41st year with 450 musicians set to perform on six downtown stages from Friday, Apr. 10 to Sunday, Apr. 12. - ➤ Tucson Values Teachers is accepting nominations for the E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Award that honors outstanding educators in Pima County. Twelve finalists will be chosen and recognized at Stand Up 4 Teachers on Nov. 5, with four winners receiving $2,500 each (with an equal award to their schools) and eight finalists receiving $500 each. - ➤ Pima Animal Care Center reports a sharp rise in parvovirus cases with a 250% increase in infected puppies compared to last year. Officials are offering free vaccines through Karen’s Karing Van and urging locals to foster or adopt to help ease the strain. KGUN 9
