- ➤ NASA's Artemis Two crew returned to Earth after a historic lunar flyby as the capsule splashed in the Pacific and scientists at the local Planetary Science Institute will help plan a crewed landing near the moon's south pole. KVOA

- ➤ Florida-based No Sleep Beverage acquired Whiskey Del Bac, a Tucson whiskey brand started in 2013 by Stephen and Elaine Paul (the brand uses mesquite fire-dried barley for its distinct flavor). The company moved to 2106 Forbes Blvd in 2014 and is one of three brands joining the portfolio. KGUN 9

- ➤ Tucson Folk Festival returns for its 41st year this weekend in downtown Tucson, offering free folk music performances at Jácome Plaza and surrounding venues along with food vendors, local artisans (and) family-friendly activities. KGUN 9

- ➤ Gas prices in Tucson are dropping after weeks of high costs, with AAA showing an average of $4.50 per gallon on Friday, Apr. 10. Analyst Patrick DeHaan warns that global market issues mean prices may not drop below $4 for several weeks. KGUN 9

- ➤ University of Arizona students explained their project to track the Artemis II mission during a campus event + they will use innovative methods to update local residents on the mission’s progress. KOLD News 13

- ➤ The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality is accepting comments through May 24 on a draft air quality permit for Pratt & Whitney Engine Services’ jet engine research at 8650 S. Alvernon Way. A virtual hearing is scheduled on Apr. 29 at 3 p.m. for more details. KVOA

- ➤ New HAWK crosswalk signals have been installed at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Second Street following a fatal crash last October that killed three U of A students — officials say they will become active within a week as crews finish final touches. KGUN 9
- ➤ The Town of Marana is asking for input on a multi-purpose project that will improve drainage and add recreation opportunities. Residents can complete a survey to help shape early plans that include a multi-use path and a potential removal of Barnett Road. KGUN 9
