- ➤ Members of Chabad Tucson—Young Israel discovered antisemitic graffiti on a historic synagogue near East 4th Street and Tucson Boulevard on April 22 and Tucson Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime. KOLD News 13
- ➤ A major drug bust at Nogales port today saw US Customs and Border Protection seize 96 pounds of methamphetamine—5 pounds each of cocaine, fentanyl and heroin—hidden in car parts, taped to a person and in a compartment under a bus toilet that stopped large shipments of illegal drugs from entering Southern Arizona. - ➤ Last week, Tucson officers seized over 100 lbs of illegal drugs—including about 96 lbs of meth, over 5 lbs of cocaine, around 5 lbs of fentanyl powder, and nearly 5 lbs of heroin—which were hidden under floor tiles, in car panels, and even taped to a person with one compartment found under a bus toilet.
