- ➤ Old Pueblo Community Services recently broke ground on a $3.4 million renovation at its Veteran’s Center at 3701 E. Third St to expand housing and support for unhoused veterans—adding 18 studio apartments and a central kitchen to serve 100 more individuals. - ➤ The Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Corps is giving away over $800,000 in brand-new items including baby products and clothing at the Amphi Community Center at 218 E. Prince Road for the next few weeks—goods acquired with help from the Pima County Community & Workforce Development Department will be distributed through local nonprofits, veterans services, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the International Rescue Committee.
