COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Tucson Parks and Recreation closed the Udall Pool at Morris K. Udall Park on the east side after staff found glass in the water. The pool will be drained, cleaned, and refilled with a possible reopening Friday while all city pools close May 25-26 for Memorial Day observances. KGUN 9

- ➤ Antiques Roadshow returned to Old Tucson after a decade-long absence as hundreds of locals had items appraised. More than 70 experts evaluated collectibles—ranging from pop culture items to sports memorabilia—while the PBS show continues its tour with stops in Indianapolis and Mumford, New York. KVOA

- ➤ At the University of Arizona commencement, graduates booed a keynote speaker who mentioned artificial intelligence amid concerns about future jobs (echoing similar reactions at other campuses where new grads face a challenging market). KVOA
- ➤ Five seniors at Desert View High School will graduate with diplomas and associate degrees through Tri-School Partnership with Pima College and University of Arizona. - ➤ Marana Regional Airport received an $800k federal grant to plan a new air traffic control tower that will improve flight safety and handle growing traffic; officials said the grant marks a key step, though construction is pending. KGUN 9
- ➤ Tucson will fund STAR Village safe sleeping site for another year using rollover funds from office budgets and nonprofit contributions.
