GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) urged ratepayers to call their electric utility for bill assistance as high temperatures drive up costs and offered a disconnection moratorium from June 1 to Oct. 15 to help customers manage payments. KGUN 9
- ➤ Grant Road near I-10 is closed until early August to let crews work on the underpass near the Union Pacific Railroad. Drivers should use detour routes like Miracle Mile, Speedway Boulevard, and the I-10 frontage roads to bypass the closure. KGUN 9
- ➤ Pima County officials announced Friday that the Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range will be partially closed from May 27 through June 20 for renovations — the archery, rifle and pistol ranges will be open on Sundays only from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 11296 S. Harrison Road. KGUN 9
