- ➤ More than 100 small animals rescued by Pima Animal Care Center last week will be available for adoption Friday and Saturday in Tucson after receiving care evaluations at the shelter. The rescued pets include dogs, cats, and a Patagonian mara from a home with poor conditions. KVOA
- ➤ Tucson crews cleared over 2,000 dump sites yesterday+ working to improve community spaces by removing waste from illegal dumping areas. Officials say the cleanup will continue as part of an ongoing effort to enhance local neighborhoods. KVOA
- ➤ Palo Verde Park on Tucson's eastside reopened after nearly $5 million in renovations that added three pickleball courts, the Judith Blair Basketball Court, a new playground, and over 100 trees (funded by Proposition 407).
