  • On Thursday, candidate Daniel Hernandez said a campaign staffer's car was struck by gunfire outside his home—used as his campaign headquarters—with local police finding bullet casings at South 10th Avenue and West 22nd Street as they continue to investigate with no arrests made yet.  KVOA
  • Construction workers on a road-widening project near West Twin Peaks — North Silverbell roads in Marana found human remains on Thursday, and detectives confirmed the remains are human while suspending all work during the investigation.  Arizona Daily Star

  • Tucson City has appointed Selene Tibbitts as the new Public and Affordable Housing Administrator — she will manage over 1,900 city-owned housing units, including single-family homes, multi-family units and apartments.
