- ➤ This summer, South Tucson Community Outreach partnered with Interfaith Community Services to launch a monthly mobile food pantry at the South Tucson Housing Authority — a move aimed at better supporting elders and disabled residents who struggle to purchase groceries. The pantry served 70 residents recently and will return on the fourth Thursday each month to help local families in need. KGUN 9

- ➤ Pima County will use treated water from its Green Valley Wastewater Treatment Facility to add a stream to a dry part of the Santa Cruz River near Llano Grande Trailhead—about 25 miles south of Tucson.
