- ➤ Federal agents took Julio Aguirre from a Tucson hospital to a detention center in Florence after he allegedly shot 69-year-old Ricky E. Miller Sr. during a July 10 robbery attempt (Pima County said the move halted their effort to charge him with first-degree murder and additional crimes). Arizona Public Media
- ➤ Tucson humanitarian aid workers filed a federal claim after they said Homeland Security Investigations officers pointed rifles at them and detained them for 30 minutes during a routine aid run near Sasabe in March—claiming the officers unlawfully stopped them on a public road while they delivered aid.
