- ➤ Former state senator Justine Wadsack missed a mandatory Federal Court hearing Tuesday in her civil suit alleging political persecution by Tucson—her attorney said she was told to appear but gave no explanation. - ➤ Sun Tran is inviting the Tucson community to share feedback on the proposed discontinuation of Route 22, a bus that carries about 5,000 passengers each month. The one-hour public meetings will run from Sept. 2 to Sept. 12 and cover the route starting at the Ronstadt Transit Center and passing the El Rio Neighborhood Center and Boys & Girls Club — residents can also submit their comments online before Sept. 12.
