- ➤ One female hiker died and another is in critical condition after an incident on Oro Valley’s Linda Vista hiking trail Saturday, with rescue teams arriving at 1:45 p.m.—officials report the two women were found a short distance apart—and law enforcement noted no suspicious circumstances. KVOA
- ➤ Early Saturday, Tucson police said a 58-year-old passenger died when the SUV she rode in left the road just before 2 a.m. after speeding on Campbell and struck a utility pole on North Campbell Avenue— a 44-year-old driver was injured and taken to hospital. Arizona Daily Star
