- ➤ More than two thousand Southern Arizonans joined a walk on Oct 26 to raise awareness for ending Alzheimer’s. Organizers said the event brought neighbors together to support research and care for those affected. KVOA
- ➤ Yesterday, Tucsonans enjoyed several hours of a car free day when Cyclovia returned to close streets for safe walking and biking — a move that let residents experience their community in a new way. KVOA

- ➤ Tucson’s historic St. Philip’s Episcopal Church won a $150,000 grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Fund for Sacred Spaces program. Arizona Daily Star
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ TUSD will vote Tuesday on a policy that asks families to use only district transportation while also extending the Tucson Education Association contract and reviewing new literacy pilot programs in several elementary schools. Vail may redraw school boundaries for Rita Ranch students — a change prompted by growth at Mica Mountain High School — and other local districts will update bond funds and long-range plans at upcoming meetings. - ➤ Marana's development services is reviewing an application from Beale Infrastructure to rezone two 300-acre parcels for a new air-cooled data center — the project requires public input under a town ordinance. Construction is tentatively set to begin later next year. KOLD News 13
