- ➤ From November 8 through November 11, Rancho Sahuarita will host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute's Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute to honor veterans with a double-sided replica wall measuring 5 feet tall by 82 feet long and a display recognizing major conflicts. The tribute will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.—with an opening ceremony on November 8 at 8 a.m. featuring a former Marine as master of ceremonies and presentations by local officials. KVOA
- ➤ Southern Arizona's Jewish and Family Children's Services has opened a hygiene pantry on East Fifth Street in Tucson to help families who will lose SNAP benefits on Nov 1. - ➤ Dr. Kenneth Liechty, a pediatric and fetal surgeon at Banner's Fetal Care Center (Diamond Children's Medical Center), operated on baby Ramona while she was still in her mother's womb after a 21-week checkup revealed a mass compressing her heart.
