  • A husband and wife who started the Christmas At Nana’s tradition eight years ago continue to bring joy to kids in Barrio Hollywood by providing presents to open during the holidays.  KVOA
  • On Sunday, Reid Park hosted the Spirit of Resistance: Community and Care Winter Fair organized by Defend Tucson (and its coalition) to offer training sessions, legal briefings, and donation drives amid concerns over immigration enforcement and budget cuts. CULTURE NEWS

  • Tucson theaters are evaluating how a pending Warner Bros deal may affect film showings and operations. Representatives said more details will be shared once negotiations progress (further updates expected soon).  KOLD News 13

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • South Tucson community members held a memorial to remember those harmed by TCE groundwater contamination. The event at a local venue (with local leaders present) offered residents a chance to share memories and discuss steps to protect water quality.  KOLD News 13

  • ADOT has set lane restrictions on the I-10 frontage roads from Ina to Orange Grove and closed the westbound shoulder from Ina to Cortaro through Friday as crews widen the highway in Tucson. Drivers should expect slowdowns between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.  KVOA

  • Marking its 54th year, the Tucson Marathon draws thousands of runners along the Old Pueblo route. Officials say the event will spark community spirit as locals cheer on participants.  KOLD News 13
  • The Pima Community College men’s basketball team won a 105-96 ACCAC contest against Glendale Community College on Wednesday, with Mason Hunt scoring 22 of 29 points in the second half for their 10th straight win; the Aztecs will play Scottsdale Community College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.  Tucson Sentinel
