About this event
Turn fabric scraps into a beautiful handmade holiday ornament—no sewing required!
Come explore Kinusaiga, the Japanese art of creating pictures with fabric. In this guided workshop, you’ll choose from a variety of patterns or create your own design, then use your favorite fabric colors and patterns to make a one-of-a-kind tree ornament.
Your finished ornament will be ready to add a personal touch to your holiday decorations or give as a thoughtful handmade gift. Beginners are welcome, and no experience is necessary!
Join us at Tucson Creative Reuse , a wonderful new creative reuse shop in the heart of Tucson's historic Fourth Avenue district. Fourth Avenue has always been a place where artists, makers, musicians, and creative spirits come together, and this feels like the perfect place to gather with fellow crafters.
Misa, owner of Tucson Creative Reuse, is passionate about building Tucson's creative community, and we're excited to help introduce more makers to this fantastic new local resource.
Parking: There are lots of metered spaces along Fourth Avenue, plus nearby city garages and surface lots if the street spots are full. However, street parking is metered ($1.50/hour), so please come prepared to pay for parking.
