Sabino Canyon Dam, mini hike

* Let's see what Mother Nature has done with all of this rain we've been getting.

You are officially invited to the legendary trek to the Sabino Canyon Dam—where the views are gorgeous, the water is refreshing, and everyone pretends the uphill walk is "not that bad."

To be honest though, this is a mini hike good for beginners. It's a little less than a mile each direction. My son plans to play in the water at the dam for a few minutes.

Parking at the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is $8 per car.... unless you have the "America the Beautiful pass" then it's free. Flashlights are optional if you have them. I know we all have flashlights on our phones. It will get dark as we arrive at the Dam.
